Striker Oscar Estupiñán, Vitória de Guimarães top scorer in the 2021/22 edition of the Liga Bwin, with 15 goals, announced this Thursday the departure of the Minho club, with which his contract ends.
Hired by the Guimarães with the Colombians of Once Caldas, in the summer of 2017, the 25-year-old striker wrote, on the social network Instagram, that it is not “easy to make the decision to leave a place” where he was. “happy”, having completed “wonderful seasons”, which included, in between, loans to Barcelona from Guayaquil, Ecuador, in 2019, and to the Turks from Denizlispor, in 2019/20.

(…) I want to thank everyone for these great years that I have spent: my team-mates, the club staff and, above all, to the fans of Vitória, who have always made me feel special”, reads the published note.
Author of a goal in 14 games during the first season in Guimarães, Oscar Estupiñán then passed through the Guimarães B team, where he scored 11 goals in 20 games, before returning to the main team during the season. 2020/21, which he scored. 25 goals in 57 official matches.
