After winning the national title at the Estádio da Luz, FC Porto returns this Saturday to Dragão to play the last round of the championship and celebrate in front of the Invicta supporters.
The blues and whites will host Estoril from 6:00 p.m. and, at the end of the match, they will be received at the town hall of Porto.
In a press release published this Thursday, the Public Security Police (PSP) indicated that “access to Avenida dos Aliados will be cut off from road traffic and pedestrian access will be controlled” from 4:00 p.m. In addition, the maintenance of order will be reinforced in the areas where the festivities will take place.
The buses carrying the blue and white team must leave Dragão at 10:30 p.m., in the direction of Aliados. In addition to calling on supporters to respect a safe distance from vehicles, the security forces “request that backpacks or other bags, as well as objects normally prohibited from accessing sports venues, not be transported” .
“For security reasons, when the maximum security capacity of Avenida dos Aliados is considered exhausted, more people will not be allowed to enter, therefore the PSP asks for everyone’s understanding, in case they are not not possible to access it”, also refers to the note of PSP.
We recall that FC Porto secured the 30th title of national champion by beating Benfica in the last round of the League, by 1-0. FC Porto squad celebrated with supporters at dawn, next to the Estádio do Dragãobut the celebrations were marked by the death of a follower, victim of a stab wound.
