New Delhi, India) – A major fire broke out in a four-storey building in the Indian capital on Friday – at least 27 people could not escape the flames, twelve were injured and around 50 were rescued.
According to the emergency services, the fire broke out on the first floor of the house in the Mundka district. It was a security camera production company with easily flammable material.

In a very short time, the flames spread into a huge fire. The exact cause of the fire was initially unknown. The building did not have a firefighter safety permit nor was it equipped with firefighting equipment, Delhi Fire Chief Atul Garg said.
The two owners of the camera business – two brothers – have been arrested on suspicion of breaching fire regulations. The owner of the building would have gone into hiding.
