Ajax won the Dutch football title, the 36th in their history, after beating Heerenveen 5-0 in a 33rd round match of the national championship. The fight for the title is therefore over, with PSV in second place.
Roger Schmidt, coach of the Eindhoven team, and who has a principle of agreement to guide Benfica, spoke about winning the emblem of Amsterdam. “Every champion deserves it, after 34 games.
